IMPORT OF AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS AS A FACTOR OF THE AUTOMOTIVE MARKET LABILITY

Abstract

The present position of Russia in the system of world economic relations is characterized by the rapid political and economic isolation of the country in the international arena and is coming to replace the long-lasting course of the country focused on deep integration ties and consequently posing new challenges to the domestic economy. Therefore, the issue of further functioning of industries with a high level of import dependence, the automotive industry in particular, remains not only unresolved, but also primary in terms of its further existence. Eventually, even in a relatively favorable environment for national security improvement in the abovementioned sector, the activity aimed at the gap reduce in the material assurance of domestic automotive components has not brought significant results compared with the global practice. It has only become superficial. On balance, the real estimation of import necessity in the sector of Russian automobile industry and the research of present conditions and perspectives regarding the adaptation of branch to challenges of modernity are of special scientific and practical interest. In the process of work, a qualitative and quantitative characteristic of a condition of the field will be given with the reliance on market conjuncture dynamics as well as the factors and the preconditions breaking a level of its self-sufficiency will be analyzed. The analysis of the sanctions pressure spreading on the Russian automotive industry activities, as well as the impact of relevant trends at the global level on its development will serve as the actual basis of the research. Furthermore, the cause-and-effect relationship between the gap in the rate of increase in production localization in Russia and the possibility of its infrastructural and institutional development in modern conditions will be determined by means of abstract-logical and economic-mathematical methods.
