Abstract

Modernizing the infrastructure of rural settlements: the key to optimizing rural settlement and improving the quality of life in Belarus. In the context of globalization, technological innovation and growing international competition, optimization of rural settlement and modernization of the infrastructure of rural settlements are crucial for the development of the agricultural economy of Belarus. As a result of the research, theoretical foundations, conceptual provisions and a mechanism for optimizing rural settlement were developed, including a set of factors influencing the size of settlements. At the same time, optimizing rural settlement is crucial in improving the availability of social services, raising living standards and ensuring public safety. This will also ensure that rural areas are more attractive for living and attract qualified personnel. Will increase the efficiency of services provided to the rural population by institutions and organizations. Will create conditions for economic growth and development of agricultural production. It will improve the demographic situation and will curb the outflow of population from the village. For this, we have developed a model of a mechanism for optimizing the rural settlement of an administrative region and an algorithm for its functioning. The objective function of the mechanism model is designed to determine the maximum density of the rural population.
