Abstract

In the context of globalization and increased competition in the market, the Lean Production principle is the main tool for increasing enterprise productivity. This method, used in numerous countries, leads to optimization of production processes and reduction of losses, which makes it the most relevant for Russian organizations. The introduction of Lean technologies in Russia affects not only the improvement of efficiency, but also the increase of competitiveness in the global arena, providing the foundation for stable economic growth. The purpose of this paper is to study the peculiarities of applying the concept of lean manufacturing in different countries, as well as the specifics of its use in Russian companies. The objectives of this paper are to analyze the tools and principles of the lean manufacturing concept by comparing the approaches to its implementation in the world's leading economies and Russia. In addition, the work is based on an assessment of the indicators of the use of Lean technologies in Russian firms and a review of government initiatives aimed at supporting lean manufacturing. The research is based on the use of confirmed data sources and a comparative analysis of information sources. To analyze the application of Lean technologies, methods of synthesis and analysis, data visualization and a comparative method for the analogy of production practices from different countries are used. The study showed that the introduction of lean manufacturing allows Russian organizations to reduce costs and increase productivity. The state support shown in national projects also makes a significant contribution to the formation of infrastructure to increase efficiency. The use of Lean technologies in Russia confirms its relevance and importance for the growth of competitiveness of domestic companies. Despite several barriers, such as resistance to change and lack of competencies, the consistent implementation of Lean Production improves key performance indicators and contributes to the integration of Russian enterprises into the global market.
