DEVELOPMENT OF THE INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY: BUSINESS MODEL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TOMORROW
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the development of the Institute of Higher Education in Russia in the context of the formation of the digital economy. Main general scientific methods of cognition (analysis, synthesis, deduction, comparison, scientific abstraction, logical reasoning, fact collection) were used in the preparation of the theoretical and methodological basis of scientific research, and special economic methods (analytical processing of quantitative and quantitative data, problem-chronological and historical-genetic methods of scientific cognition, as well as the method of expert assessments) were used to study the processes of transformation of the university's business models taking into account current challenges and threats, as well as national priorities and the goals of the development of the digital economy. The conducted scientific study has shown that digitalization of the higher education institute in Russia was still limited to the accumulation and transfer of knowledge to educational service providers; state programs were actively being set for the development of the Institute of Higher Education; the reform of the institution of higher education in the digital economy emphasizes the state's efforts to form super-services to build a dialogue between science, business and power through technology parks, clusters, special economic zones, that is, the physical embodiment of cooperation prevails. The main conceptual business models of the 4.0 University, created on the basis of the best practices of the digital economy are: 1) a digital giant; 2) strategic partnerships; 3) Model P&S (Pooling and Sharing). The proposals considered in the article on improving the business model of the university, taking into account the impact of the formation of the digital economy, can be used in the development of strategies for the activities of government bodies in the field of education and science, as well as the implementation of pilot projects for the integration of the Institute of Higher Education and the business environment.
