CHANGING VALUES AND GUIDELINES FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES IN THE FRAMEWORK OF DIGITAL TRASNFORMATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of changes in the values and guidelines for the management of industrial enterprises in the process of digital transformation. A study of the individual authors’ opinions on the need to change the enterprise management system and business guidelines under the influence of digital transformation has been carried out. It has been found that the digital transformation of business involves not just the latest information technology introduction, but also the revision of corporate, business, functional strategies, values and management benchmarks and development models of business organizations in general. The main problems that hinder the effective implementation of digital strategies of enterprises have been identified. It is concluded that the key guidelines for managers of digital business organizations in this case become: the creation of new organizational management structures; the use of design principles; the creation of a special unit in the firm and the position of digital technology director / chief digital director to manage the digitalization program; the formation of digital competence of business organizations' employees. The features of the digital competence of personnel are disclosed in detail, and the professional abilities and skills of digital experts are identified. A scheme reflecting the specifics of the values and benchmarks of companies depending on the level of their digital transformation has been drawn up. The main values and benchmarks that need to be implemented in the process of digital business transformation, depending on the changes in the market environment in which companies operate, have also been identified. The implementation of the presented values and guidelines in the management system of an industrial enterprise will have a positive impact on the quality of products and services, customer service system, information support of the market relations participants. As a result of the study it has been concluded that the main guidelines for the development of management systems in the digital transformation of business should be: the promotion of accelerated innovation initiatives, market environment predictive monitoring, assessment of factors affecting the competitiveness of the company, the development of roadmaps based on industry priorities and customer experience.
