ANALYSIS OF THE DEPENDENCE OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION AND COSTS OF INNOVATION ACTIVITIES IN REGIONAL SYSTEMS
Abstract
The study examines methods for assessing and diagnosing key factors that determine the growth of the industrial complex in the region, including investment and expenditure mechanisms that stimulate the progress of the manufacturing industry of mesoterritories. The scientific significance of the work is due to the need for a systematic study of the patterns of development of industrial enterprises within regional economies, taking into account the spatial distribution of resources, the dynamics of changes and investment indicators. The empirical basis of the study was the statistical data of the Central Federal District, characterizing structural changes in the manufacturing sector. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the functioning of the manufacturing industry of regional economic systems, taking into account the costs of scientific research based on spatial and dynamic analysis, which allows for the formation of reliable econometric models through which medium-term and long-term planning is carried out. The assessment of the functioning of the territories is carried out taking into account the indicator that determines the costs of scientific research and development, the significance of which is confirmed both in terms of spatial and temporal characteristics of the development of mesoterritories. A number of factor criteria affecting the manufacturing industry in the selected regional space were diagnosed, with a scatter diagram constructed that displays the relationship and belonging to the selected confidence interval and describes the distribution of set elements in the plane between the resulting and factor values - the volume of shipped goods of manufacturing industries and the costs of research and development. The developed statistically significant predictive model opens up opportunities for forecasting key economic indicators. These tools of quantitative analysis and forecasting can become the basis for making balanced management decisions in the field of regional development, ensuring the sustainability of production chains and optimization of resource potential.
